Oyster Festival Board

The Amite Oyster Festival Board is composed of dedicated, hardworking members of the community who serve entirely as volunteers. Each year, new board members are selected during the festival closeout meeting held in April. Officer elections take place at the February monthly meeting. The festival year officially begins on June 1.

Anyone interested in serving on the board or volunteering in any capacity is encouraged to contact a current board member or email us at amiteoyster@gmail.com. Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, with weekly meetings taking place during the month of March.
